The mats are great. They hold all the slush and snow that you can drag in.

I run 17's in the winter. Tires are Blizzak WS60 in 225/50. Wheels are 17x8 ET35 - Sport Edition F10. This set up weighs 10 lb lighter per corner compared to the stock 19s (tri-spoke fives) with the Sport Max GT.

The RS6 Pedal set is around $300 with a dead pedal. If you are getting an s-tronic, you want the RS5 pedal set because the dead pedal is an exact fit.

Thanks for the info, MT6, hoping someone will have a hibrid kit with an exact dead pedal fit and 3 pedals by Dec, if not, I'll get whatever the kit I need.

okay, I think there is an RS5 MT6 set. You can get the RS6 set too but it just takes a bit of manipulation on the dead pedal to make it fit. See DIY:

i dont have a manual so I am not positive about the pedals but I am positive that the dead pedal for the RS5 is the exact fit for our car. I am 99% sure that the other 3 pedals are as well. Just so you know, the RS4 set is the same as the RS6. Contact Alex at Europrice for confirmation. One thing to note is that the RS4/RS6 set is DIFFERENT than the RS5 set so I would note recommend mixing and matching.

After reading ibiski's thread on his goodies, I pulled the trigger on the R8-V10 wheel. I'm told it's identical to ibiski's RS6 without the paddles since the new ride is MT6.

Kudos to all on this thread for summarizing the important stuff. I printed it and the
copy goes to the folder labeled "2012 S4/GolfR".

One piece of advice on window tint. Ask around before you get it. Tints come only
as good as the tech who applies them. Once applied the wrong way they are pretty
hard to correct too.

I had Llumar, the tech wisely pointed to my sunroof and matched the rears and back
to it. Could not be happier, 3 snotty kids keep rubbing at it for 2 years now without
one scratch.

My windshield and front doors are tint free. I want law enforcement to see i shave,
have 5mm hair, and a straight back before they attempt contact :)

You bet, it'll be pictures galore when I get my hands on the new ride! BTW, we got more than 12" of snow over the past 2 days... Kind of happy I did not have to 'abuse' the new ride in this muck... It's a tough position to be in, you kind of want to play in the muck but it breaks my heart to abuse it in this environment...

Ya I got it to match my Alcantara seats. I am also going to get my shift boot remade in Alcantara along with covering the center armrest in it. I love the stuff. A friend of mine had a lambo with the entire interior covered in Alcantara, and after I first saw his car I was in love with that stuff. I hope it holds up over time. Only time will tell. I normally only keep cars while they are in the original factory warranty, so I won't have the car for a long time. I guess about 3 or so more years. So as long as it holds up thru that time, then I will be happy.

It's a hybrid that supports analog and DVB-T. Analog is dead in the states and DVB-T isn't supported here. We're SOL.
