Question To those with LEDs in the tail lamps (or how to disable bulb-out warnings)

Where did you put the resistors? Based on the design of our tail lamps I am trying to figure out how to even get resistors wired in. Also, I need to know which specific wire(s) are for the brake lamps.

The bulb-out thing is not coming up all the time but it's enough to annoy me. If there's a way to disable this in VAG-COM I'd happily take that route instead.

Thanks Joe. Are the wire colors the same on the OEM tails?

Also, that write-up doesn't really show where (physically) you can put the resistors. The design of the tail lamps is not like all the other cars I've worked on so I need to mount these somewhere safe.

Usually you can find the wire by connecting the ground to your bettery and then have a positive wire connected to the batter and touch it to each wire on the harness and see what's what

I was hoping someone had a Bentley manual and could just look it up. Thanks for nothing, Joe. :-)
