paint brake callipers in nothern VA

Hi everyone,
this is my first thread post in this forum but i have been viewing it for a while. I just got my 2011 S5 trip about 3 weeks ago i really love the car it really turns heads! :D The V8 growl is amazing!
I would like to tint my windows but i remember reading somewhere that when tinting the rear window water will go down to the amplifier and burn it. Just want to make sure if its ok to tint, and if anyone knows of a good tint shop in nothern VA :)
another thing i wanna do is paint my brake callipers red to match the interior. i have no idea where i can do that, if anyone knows anything please let me know.

For the tint, Just make sure you cover the Amp in the trunk with a towel or something before dropping it off, and warn them and let them know to restrict their water use back there. I'm not from VA so I couldn't recommend you a shop, but im sure someone here will.

And for the calipers, You could easily do it yourself. They sell "Caliper Paint Kits" at any automotive store (Kragens, Autozone, Pep Boys..etc).

TNT Tint in Alexandria is a great place to look, run by a guy named Matt. As far as your calipers go, you should probably remove them and have them sent to a professionial powder-coater.

ok finally i am about to get my
car tinted tomorrow, do you guys know where exactly the amplifier is? and how i can get to it? so i can cover it with towels. thanks again :)

open the trunk and on the left side(driver seat) there is a small handle open it and you will find the amplifier, just put a few towels on it and close the handle and you will be fine :)
