Voice Guidance mode

I have spent whole afternoon trying to find the setting where I can switch my Voice guidance between "Compact" and "Complete"
With the Compact setting my voice guidance only tells me to turn left/right without spelling out street names in Complete mode.

I remember seeing it a couple days ago when I was activating my TPMS through Vagcom, and now I cannot find it either through Vagcom nor any of the menu options.

In the nav or map screen, press the setup button and scroll down until you see the voice guidance option.

Yeah, I've tried that option before. it only gives you On / Off (on phone) / Off .... does not switch between Compact / Complete mode for me :(

Hmm... I checked mine again on the way to work and that's where it was listed. You could try defaulting out the navi through the MMI or Vagcom

I've tried resetting the Nav to factory setting but no luck

Totally different screens... is your A4 a B8?

Oh yeah forgot to mention that mine is the 2009 b8 which use mmi 2g
