    Actually, it's a mod for my daughter. Recaro use to make these seats w/ the inserts in suede negaro blue but I think they stopped its production.

    That's about right. It looks like the Signo. I have that same seat in a MKV GTI and I've got the Young Sport in the Audi. Both nice seats.

    good eye..we kept it on to act as another locking mechanism to the top fo the car seat. If the view for my wife becomes too obstructed through the rear-view mirror, I'll go ahead and remove the headrest.

    I got it from BuyBuyBaby. The baby r us in our town didn't carry recaro.

    buy a seat saver. the base will eat into the leather and damage it.
