    Exclamation EPC light and Check Engine Light just came on!

    Ok so Saturday morning I go to start my car and the EPC light and CEL come on right after starting the car. How do i find out what code w/o taking it to the dealer? The car is no longer under warranty so i would rather take it somewhere else then the stealer ship or if its a DIY save the $ all together.

    well this sucks, AutoZone ran a scan and came back with a P0601 code!

    Failed ECU.....are you kidding me!?!??!

    What do I do? Its a 06' B7 with only has 35K miles on.

    Bring it to the dealer and get a quote, at list, they will confirm if it's really the ECU. Never heard about such ECU failure
