    RS6 DP's on RS6 turbo'd B5 S4?

I've been searching for a while but haven't found any answers.

    Can you use a set of RS6 Dump pipes on a RS6 turbo'd S4?
The reason I asked is I bought a complete RS6 motor and I have both the turbo's and DP's.
As I already have RS4 DP's on the car. I was hoping I could get away with using the rs6 DP's without having to cut the flange off and weld it onto my RS4 DP's, then I could sell the RS4 Dp's and recoup a little cash.

Also does anyone know of mafless tune's or blow through MAF setup's on our cars?

I'm sorry .... you have an an entire rs6 motor just laying around? I have no idea about the downpipes but JHM's website explains why they wont fit somewhere if you click on their rs6 turbos.

put the rs6 motor in the b5?

yeah i don't think that's going to work, they are probably completely different in orientation, and dps are already a tight fit down the tunnel as it is. I'm sure they are angled differently in the rs6 vs rs4

I had a look on JHM's site but couldn't find the info, but cheers anyway.

It's too hard to fit in the B5 unless I make it RWD only and push the trans back 5-6" as the motor is too long for our engine bays in AWD mode(due to front CV's alignment).

I'll be putting the motor in my truck when I get back home, with some GT30's and a 01e converted to RWD, or maybe mid-mount it in the tray with a FWD only 01e. time will tell.

I thought the RS6 DP were a little shallow in the amount they drop after the turbo's. The RS6 must have it turbo's mounted lower in the engine bay.

That's useless though as they used the auto box which is the weakest part in the whole RS6.

If you get on rs246.com you'll see they can blow in under 20,000miles from new with stock power.

It would only be worth putting it in if you Used an 01e or the newer C6 RS6 6spd auto box but no one has sorted the programming for the C6 RS6 box yet in a swap situation and the adapter plate for the 01e is too long.

Believe me I'd love to do it but not with the origional auto transmission.

Well that's a shame, because there is a local C5 RS6 who has an 01E swap running around, I figured it would be just as simple with the adapter plate on the B5.

Fortunatly for RS6 owner they have the extra space for the 6spd 01e swap, but unfortunatly we don't.

I've done alot of reaserch on it and I can't find anyone that's fitted the RS6 motor and 01E into a B5 chassis without making it RWD only or without having to extend the front of the car.
