^ wow... and you're pretty flush too. I was looking at a 20x10 +40, but after looking at your car I doubt it will fit. I think a 20x9 +35 may work w/ some fender rolling.

Your stance looks perfect, what coilovers are you running? I plan to order some KW V3's next month.

Hey bryzf1...That was a beautiful Avant you had...sorry you had to get rid of it. I noticed you had 255/30/20's w/ a 20x9 +41. I'm trying to decide whether to go with 19 or 20's. If 20's, my option would be 20x8.5 ET35. With the same size tire, do you think that'll work, or would I need spacers? If so, what size? I haven't lowered yet, but when I do...it'll be KW V1.

I test fitted a set of 20x9 ET35 with 265/30s and they absolutly will NOT work at my ride height. No amount of rolling will keep the tire off the sheetmetal. You MIGHT be able to get away with it if you're running a 245/30. 255/30 would be rolling the dice on unexpected bodywork IMHO. I'm running H&R coilovers part number 29201-1, not the same as the ones in the states. Mine are way on the stiff side as far as ride goes. Mine are spun pretty far UP too, I could spin it down and tuck the entire tire and some rim but then I'd definately have contact on the body and a turning radius rivaling the Titanic. I spent a couple days dialing in the ride height. Thanks.

And nedrager...I figure you could probably help me out with the same question, since you helped bryzf1. Please see previous post by me. I really like the look of yours and his (late) Avant.

Thank you! I was a little sad to see that you have abandoned your A6 project, but thinking of the issues you ran into, I can't say I blame you. At least it is still in the family.

Lol, I wouldn't say completely abandoned the project; merely shifted focus for a while. Definitely spending some quality time on the B5/S4 side of the neighborhood. May even become somewhat of a half-a$$ mechanic when its all said and done.

Actually my MRR HR3 wheel (hopefully in the correct size this time around) is slated to arrive next week. The A6 will then be getting a much-deserved alignment to go with the new shoes. Will post some pics when done.

Brand new to the forums - here is my 2006 4.2 S-Line. Suspension should settle another 1/4 - 1/2 inch over the coming weeks. Now on to more mods for the TT!

Wheels look good and the car is very nice. I love how the wheels accent the trim around the windows. All it needs now is a little drop to close the gap between the tires and the fenders. Overall though, I like it!
