    Hi guys! new audi owner

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey guys, I just bought my first Audi. Brand new Brilliant Black 2011 Audi A4 premium plus I thought I couldn't afford a Audi but I couldn't pass this one up for the deal I got. I love it and the I'm the envy of my friends. As I've seen the first thing people usually do are rims. Im planning to put 18x8.5 VMR 710 with some H&R springs or wheels similar to those if you have any suggestions.

here's a picture, ill get better ones later... it been raining like cats and dogs here recently so i haven't been able to get good pics yet. P.S. the M3 is my friend not mine

The ride on just springs will kill your shocks and not be very comfortable.

But the v710s would be amazing!

there are a lot of people who are on springs (including myself) and do just fine. Coilovers are great if you planning on tracking the car, and probably will last a while longer, but I love my stasis springs for the ride, handling, and the fact that they were made specifically for the B8 platform, so the rate is identical to stock. To me, the price difference isn't worth it... The Stasis guys had 35k on their springs, and I can replace the springs/shocks two or three times before it would even break even with the cost of coils. But I think the drop is perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing!

    Current Mods: 30% Rear 50% Front Llumar Ceramic Tint. 19" V708 w/ 255/35 Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110. H&R Coils.
STaSIS: Chip, Anti-Roll Bar, exhaust, steel brake lines.

Springs are perfectly fine if you're on a budget.. I've had mine on for a bit now and the ride is a dream, totally changed the dynamic of the car, and the pure aesthetics alone are worth it
