    A7 TFSI Badge

Just saw this on Autoblog's piece on the A7 Sportback. Probably too big to look good in place of the "V6T" or "Supercharged" badge though. Oh well.

    Edit:

Also, anyone think it's shift knob will fit the B8?

I would still go with Supercharged if given the choice. You could but this on the back though if you felt compelled. The shift knob looks like it fits and I don't know why it wouldn't. Just have to wait for it to become available.

Not on a luxury sedan, ie the A7. In a sports sedan, maybe. I think it is a perfect fit for the design & styling of the A7.

I like the knob. Nice looking combination of aluminum and leather, plus much better looking than S4's. Maybe Alex from Europrice will have some info.

Don't mind the knob, but that wood looks like a rehash of the teak decking from a 1950s Andreyale. Great, if the A7 floats I suppose.

Do you really want more lettering on your car though? "Supercharged" is ok I guess as everyone can understand it. But I'd bet half the Audi owners out there don't even know what TFSI stands for.

Ah, more like 98% wouldn't know. I think the A7 interior looks excellent for this type of car. We all agree our shift knob sucks, this one wouldn't improve our look much, however, it is better or looks to be of much higher quality. Ours is just plain cheap looking. I wouldn't spend much to change mine. In fact I never really think about it that much especially after my foot hits the pedal.

Less is more, especially in the case of badging on the S4.

Interesting perhaps that on the 'Sportline' A7 model which uses a dumbed down version of the S4 SC 3 litre (rated 300bhp), the side badge is not V6T or Supercharged but 'SLine' - reference pics on Fortitude website. The TFSI remains on rear.

Audis look so good debadged IMHO. But if badges are your thing, why not get the A7 badge in addition to the TFSI badge so you can have this:

    FAST
    S4

    OEM+ '09 Meteor Gray A4 2.0T Tip Quattro Prem+ Sport Saloon
    All-Weather Mats • Hόper Optik Stark 30 • APR Stage I • A5 S-line Y-spokes • Hankook Ventus V12 evos • S-line Stone Guards • VAG-COM'd
    Bilstein PSS10s • Eurocode IC Pipe • Avant Dual Exhaust • StopTech Pads • Lamin-X'd • Smoked Ambers • Blesk 5000ks • 034 Trans Mount

haha that would be so stupid - I hate pretty much all badges too - The only one I'd keep is the grill badge on the S4

Ya removing the S4 grille badge would just leave an odd-looking void.
