    What I did was buy the regular metra 1787 harness and used it to hardwire the front speakers to so it would plug and play with the Connects2 and I wouldn't have to hack of the male DIN ISO connectors on it. Sounds like you didn't do that, but it shouldn't matter. It sounds like you need to check your wiring again and make sure they're matched up appropriately. A really good pic of your current wiring job would help me troubleshoot this with you.
