Aux Input for Symphony II+

Anyone able to help me Vag Com? I don't have vag com and would like to do the aux input ... I wouldn't mind taping into my Sat input because I don't use it if I can do that without using Vag-com.

Forget about getting 2 x repair wires because you only really need the terminal points/connectors at the end...Get this instead;

I tried this the other day and my VAG COM does not give me the option to change any setting for the Radio. Every other module seems to work as it's suppose to, but the radio one does not.

For those of us that used the b8 aux with surge protection, here's the pin out for that connector:

The pinouts for the Aux-In socket are - (1) Aux-In GND, (2) Aux-In Right, (3) Aux-In Left, (4) unused.

Finally did this today
Added a cap to each signal wire to catch any potential power surge from the head unit.
Works like a charm!
