I installed a 007 but no wooshing noise? Is it because of the standard airbox

The 007 is a diverter/recirculation valve. You will get some noise with an aftermarket intake, but if you want the BOV wooosh noise, you need a splitter. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't want to misinform.

Depending on your airbox setup you can even hear recirculating dvs dump. If you want a BOV sound like subarus and hondas then yeah you would run a hybrid dv splitter like one pictured above but you would have to have something like 60-70% into system and 40-30% into the air ratio for the engine not to run rich. Correct me if im wrong.

A maximum of 53 clicks are possible with the splitter. I have mine on something like 16 clicks. That's about 30% Atmosphere and I get plenty of whoosh to satisfy my inner ricer. lol

Don't know. Unfortunately, automatics sound kinda lame to begin with...

Shifting could possibly sound different, but staying in one gear and gassing it a little, then letting off the throttle, would probably sound the same.
