    Vag-com help in San Diego

CEL came on while I was driving my 2001 S4 home the other night. I was getting on it a little bit, boosted to about 14-15. Then I noticed that the CEL had come on, so I stayed in vacuum the rest of the way and haven't driven it since. The car was running just fine and I cannot find anything obvious. It doesn't seem like a boost leak, but the situation that the light came on in makes me think thats a possibility. If someone could come and pull the codes with vag I could offer cash for their time. I am in the college area of San Diego. Thank you.

If you take it too group 5 motorsports they will pull the codes for free. Just give them a call to let them know you are coming so they can tell you when the best time to drop in would be. Will and Troy there are both great guys!

Thank you. I called Group 5 and they said that they scan it but I have to wait until Tuesday as they are closed for the holiay weekend. I am starting to think that it is my SAI pump. It whines pretty loudly when I start the car now. I have noticed it for a few weeks now. Also, I have a hose that I think is connected to the combi valve on one end and the other end is loose. I'm not very familiar with the SAI system though. Any thoughts?
