Great thread, Phil! You could have just asked Anthony to compile your previous threads into one (what I did anyway) to keep all original posts and replies, but this works as well.

    ok some updates.

the co's are now on 6 all around. the car was dropped a bit more.

the spacers are off as I was rubbing. (the wheel well screw was removed)

not sure how some are running et32 on a lowered car without rubbing, unless I'm either driving hard or the roads around me suck (I would say the later)

were you rubbing in the front or rear? et 32 for the rears should be fine even when lowered but the front should probably be around et35. assume you're running 255?

    the lm-r's are et38.

I'm rubbing everywhere. lol and with 5mm spacers its et33.

yup 255's but the ultrac's run wider.

I'm rubbing on dips in the rear. I should not rub when all the spacers are off.

sorry to hear. my car sits pretty low with the Stasis springs - about a 1.6" drop. no rubbing with 19 x 9 et43 with 255 tires (used to rub with the liner bolt in place). I was thinking of going with 265 tires which will have the effect of running et38 but am a little gun shy spending 1500 on tires only to find out later that they rub. i'll try running 5mm spacers first and see how that works.

yup do that let's just say a little too low and a little too wide don't mix with the front fender....ask me how I know.

anyway front spacers are off, fender fixed, co's are raised a bit.

et38 is great for the front on 255s. The rears should be able to handle the 5mm spacer.

I like the new knob, but prefer the old boot with deviated stitching that matches your seats. Any way to mix and match the two?

I noticed this immediately also. Needs the old shift boot to match those seats. The stitching on the steering wheel and shift boot in this car totally sets it off IMO. Porsche style with the deviated stitching.. love it.

I will get more pics of the interior up.

I will also see what I can do about the boot. but it matches the steering wheel that's why I kept it black.

Not sure if you'd be happy if i ask about detailing in your car modding thread, but I saw those pics of cars being power locked so I guess you carelessly gave me a permission lol.

Anyway, Phil, i was using Flex that I got from you today to power lock my car, and the sun just set that suddenly, and I don't have a garage, so I got tempted to finish the job real quick as there were tons of mosquitos biting me. So I wasn't very patient and careful with some area, and I think I might have not done it right on the other area as this was my first time with Flex and power lock. I was wondering if I should keep moving the polisher at one area until all the power lock hazes or should I just cover the area once and proceed to next area? It was very dark and I couldn't be sure if the sealant actually hazed... And for those area that I was not careful with, I simply drove the polisher by for once and didn't move it back and forth. Which way is the right way to do it?

btw, did a quick rinse later tonight after a high way drive, and it was amazing how these sealant can do the job, i didn't wipe it over after rinse and just drove away, while waters just bead up and flew away as speed built up. By the time i got home from carwash, the car was pretty much waterless :p

power lock is great i'm glad you had a good experience with, many many other have as well including myself.

application, you can apply with the flex at speed 2-3 with a uber black pad, all you need is to do one pass on the panel no need to work it into the paint like a compound or polish as its a sealant.

apply with the machine should take 10-20 minutes on a flex (depending on size of the car) let it haze then remove with a clean microfiber towel.

    hope that helps.
