Re: 2010 Audi S4 New Car Prep and 3M PPF Install

From your list of features I'm puzzled by a bit:

    Heated washer

    Headlight cleaners

I thought the 2010 Audis had no headlamp washers. Am I missing something? What are these two referring to?

    thanks!

    Other than that, nice :D

What's a fair price for 3M Clear Bra install for the bumper, 1/3 of the hood, the wing mirrors and top of the rear bumper below the trunk lip? I'm in the South Jersey/Philly Area and I am going to get a quote on Saturday. Just want to get an idea of a fair price. Cheers.

there are so many variables not everyone will quote the same thing.

are you looking at pre cut or custom?

On this S4 we would quote it out at $1300 with 3m PPF.

With other films it would probably be a bit less.

It looks like the polish actually reduced the peel by about 50%. Was the polish for paint flatening, or just a light polish for shine?

I think you forgot to use the wax polish. Wax surely brings out the shine. It will change the entire look of the body.

A few good products you can use for maintain the leather.

einszett Leathercare is an all in one product super easy to use.

if you need something stronger you can use

Leather Master Strong Cleaner followed by Leather Master Vital Conditioner.

Well I'm starting to personalize the Audi a bit.

First up on the mods Bilstein PSS10's

I was pretty skeptical at first as I had PSS9's on my 03 Audi RS6 I would have probably preferred KW's on that one, took the leap on the PSS10's and have to say I'm extremely happy with the decision to go with the PSS10's on the B8 S4.

    Take a look.

    The PSS10's:

    Fronts out

The dial is a huge improvement over the PSS9's

The fronts are in (just about)

Front of car after we dropped the car off the lift (definitely too low)

Before rear (sorry pretty bad shots)

After rear (sorry pretty bad shots)

    Before fronts

    After fronts

After a few miles the car settled and we had to adjust it a few times to get it right, I experienced some rubbing with 3 in the car so we raised it and took the front wheel liner bolt off.

After shot with final adjustments and Menzerna Power Lock

Thanks Drive Auto Works in Lydnhurst, NJ

you will have to remove the metal cover from the rs6 pedal and attach it to the stock S4 dead pedal.

Hi, Philip. What a nice ride!
Could you send me some close up shot of your front bumper? I'd like to see what would be the proper ppf film job on the bumper.
cuz I got my film done few months ago and it is toooooo bad.
[email protected] is my email address.
    Thanks in advance.

Are you still happy with the choice of bilsteins? You made reference to the pss9's, which I have and based on my experience would make me not go with another bilstein c/o

    what tips did you need.

    I used dental floss
    3m adhesive remover
    removed the badges
and then polished the light scratches off and
    then waxes/sealed the area.
