USP: Fix your coil pack harness fast, cheap, and for good! Only $29!!!!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

As many of you already know the 1.8T motors are plagued with coil pack and coil pack wire harness failures. USP is please to announce a cost and time effective way of correcting this problem. We present to you the ultimate coil pack repair kit. Below is an exert from the manufacturer.

Failed or burned up VW/Audi coil packs are most commonly caused by poor electrical connections or wire harness breaks. New connectors should be installed when replacing ignition coils especially if more than one coil pack fails. A loose connection can cause a voltage spike which may destroy or burn up the coil pack. Neighboring coil packs can also fail because wire harness connections may become bridged together because of exposed wires. The OEM connectors are not designed to be repeatedly unplugged and replugged in. VW/Audi recommends replacing the connector if there is any chance of a loose connection.

Fix the problem for good and install a new connector and leads when installing a new coil pack.

    Each Kit includes:

    (1) Coil pack clip
    (4) Preinstalled high temperature leads with terminals installed
    (3) Blue Heat Shrink connectors
    (1) Red Heat Shrink connector
    (1) Terminal removal tool
    Full instructions

All this for $29! Click here to order and use coupon code "ignition" at checkout.

i have a 3.0 v6...My question is do you know how could i remove the harness from the red portion(not the coil - but the other end red thing that holds the 3 harnesses which connect to the coils)?> because my clips are all broken and I am planning to change them, but i would do it only if there is a simple way of removing the part shown in the pic from the red thingy?

This would be more of an issue on the 1.8T with the exhaust right there IMO. I need to try this on mine...doesn't register a miss but you can feel it at times at idle and the wire insulation is cracked...

This is not per set, this is for each sylinder so a 3.0 would need 6 of these to change all the connections

In case you don't want to change the leads

This has been confusing me lately. I'm trying to figure out why people think that a sale price includes free shipping.
