Was just going through my old photos, and found a cell-phone shot of the hit that killed my 2nd A4. Doesn't look like much, does it?

Bumper obviously had to go, and the quarterpanels did too. Truck as well. But I figured that'd be cheap enough to fix. But when we got under it, the entire underbelly was all crumpled forward like an accordian. That killed it. It was a 2000 A4 2.8 stick, with only 70K-ish miles on it...

When the 1/4 panels look like that, there's major damage behind them. Good thing you could see it - you know right away it's bad.

Doesnt it suck to know that you can SMASH the front end of these cars to peices and still have the flexability to fix them, but once that ass is smacked, its over.
