    Question Brakes whistle with oil build up

    Over the past few months my brakes have been whistling like the pads need to be changed. I checked the pads and they are fine. I have been told that the problem is oil build up on the rotor. Is there a way to fix this that does not involve take the brakes apart?

    Be sure to check the inner pads closely. Often times they wear faster than the outer pads. Sometimes you can get lucky and eliminate squealing by spraying some of this stuff directly onto the rotors:
