and what else should i be worried about ive read that at 75 its a good time to change timing belt and water pump. is that correct?

    thanks guys appreciate help

I actually just got my Timing Belt, pulley, tensioner, water pump changed and I'm at 43k miles. A lot of people had problems early too. If you never got this done before and you're still not having any problems with it, you should just get it checked out. If it's still good then there is no need to waste money on them at this time in my opinion.

As for the carbon build up, I also got the dealership to do the cleaning service for me. Cost $180. The car run better now. I was missing out. Now it's time for APR trial

This is the thread that talks about Carbon Build up http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...B7-A4-2.0T-3.2

Seems like most of the products that you could buy and use yourself won't do much. BG Fuel/Air Induction Service seems to be the best option out there and that's what I got the dealership to do for me. Go here http://www.bgfindashop.com/locator/index.php and see who can do that service for you.

My dealer did it for $120. I have 110k miles and had it done at the same time as the timing belt & tensioners.

Unfortunately I had some bad motor mounts so it's hard for me to tell what made my car run so much smoother, and my guess is that I just feel less vibration due to new mounts.

At any rate, you can't really do it yourself, you need to have the air induction cleaning to really get to the buildup.
