Anyone installed a rear entertainment system?

Its getting close to summer vacation time and I was wondering if anyone had installed a rear entertainment system for the kids to watch DVDs on the long road trips. I have an indash unit in my truck and the Wife has the overhead unit in the SUV. But how about the A4 anyone put in headrest screens or something else. Pics would help also thanks.

I thought about it but then I have 3G MMI so if we're stuck in traffic I have the DVD ready.

For longer milages I thought about getting screens so that they could play what's display in the car but it just didn't seem worth it for now. I've a 9month old and a 4.5 year old and hence they watch quite different things and my wife probably wouldn't want to watch either on a long journey.

I've so far just used a portable headrest mounted one but I'm still looking for a nicer solution.

I have this Panasonic portable DVD and it works great. I explored a built in system but it was costly and required tearing up bit of the interior and fiddling with the electronics.

    Benefits of this DVD
    - car kit easily fits on our headrests with no modifications required
    - very long battery life (maybe not 13 hours but long enough) and it comes with in-car charger if you need
    - nice big matt screen
    - great FM function where you can play the music of the DVD via your car system so I get to enjoy it on my B&O system. Works great
    - you can take it with you to watch DVDs on the go as well

Downside is no remote control (but who needs one when you are all seated in a car)

    Very happy

yea, i think t-audi installed headrest tv monitors in his car. i'm sure there are other people too. i have the tv for my front screen. i was thinking about getting monitors in my head rest as well but decided against it since i dont really drive with passangers in the back and i didnt want to give anyone a reason to break into my car.
