I'm looking to do some minor stretching on 19x8.5 and 19x9 wheels and was gonna do 225/35/19 all around. Load rating for this size is 88. Not only are our cars tanks, but I got a 3.0 AND Avant. You guys think it's alright? I'm sure it's done all the time and maybe even more when major stretching is done.

If you can find the tires on tire rack you can usually hold your mouse over the load rating and it will tell you the max load in pound or kg and then you can figure out if it is enough based off that multiplied by 4 tires and compare to your cars weight.

yea the recommended min load rating for the car is 91. My question is will going down to 88 gonna be ok, since that's the max load I've found for a 225/35

IMHO i would not buy a tire with a load rating below 91.
