Well, I don't think you'll have an easy time finding this because you're FWD and FWD A4's are not very common in North America--certainly not in Canada, anyways.

I thought I saw a set of Teins but after digging them up in Kijiji they were for a FWD B5.

And fyi, Ultrasport suspension is no different than sport suspension. The lowest OEM suspension you will find is 2002 Sport. Iirc, though, in 02 Audi used Eibach springs... so you could just buy those. I presume you are currently non-sport so you'd want to find some sport shocks as well (from any year 02-08 I think). Sport shocks are red... again, just fyi...

so if i understand correctly the quattro suspension differs from the fwd?
i just assumed that all b6 and b7's had the same basic set up in just diff trim levels.
my last vehicle was just stupid low and i am not looking for that...i would be very happy with just the look of the sport suspension for now!
    thank-you for your input

Yeah, you need FWD specific suspension. Anything from a Quattro car will not fit your car. Check any website like hrsprings.com and go select your vehicle... do the same for a quattro and observe the different part #'s.

If you were to buy coils you could select your own height... I never recommend coils to people who think they're going to raise/lower with each change of season. They usually seize to the point that it is EXTREMELY difficult to change the ride height after a year or two. But for you... they might be perfect.

    Glad to help.
If I come across anything I will let you know.
I'd definitely check eBay if I were you... as well as some US forums. Lots of FWD A4's in the southern USA.

Turns out they will fit judging by the responses on the board. The differences are in the rear spring rates. The quattro rear springs are stiffer due to the added weight. Some actually say a quattro kit might be more bennificial on a FWD since it should compensate more for if you have heavy loads in your trunk ex. stereo sub system. Again, just what I read from posts on the board

That would make sense... would definitely use stiffer springs to control all that extra weight back there. I've only ever heard that they are not interchangeable... perhaps that is not the case.
