Road Trip to Wilmington! Any suggestions?

So me and a friend are taking a completely random road trip to Wilmington, NC next week.. There is kind of a story behind it.. but it came down between NC and Rhode Island. However, the weather is better in NC, so that is where we are headed!!

Any suggestions of where to go out Friday/Saturday night?? And any can't-miss sights/restaurants/etc either actually in Wilmington or on the way (coming from Chicago)?? We also need to plan something for Saturday during the day.. Any fun activities out there?

fat tonys- chill bar
anywhere around downtown is good for night life
