i know that gsp hasnt fought hardy yet but we all know how thats going to turn out. I would really like Hardy to give GSP a good fight but i dont see that happening. I would also like Carwin to beat Mir but i dont see that happening. so i have decided to move forward to ufc 112. Im a big Penn fan and i think he is going to win. and as for belfort and silva. I see Silva taking this again. GSP needs to move up weight, silva needs to move up weight and Penn needs to go to featherweight or ww.

Silva isn't fighting Belfort anymore...it's Demian Maia.

And BJ Penn needs to get out of lightweight for sure as he will not lose at this weight class ever. Especially if he continues to train as he does now.

man I can't wait for this card! this card actually looks pretty good, and the fact that one of my favourite fighters (BJ) is fighting makes it even better.

I think Frankie Edgar is a heck of a fighter but I just don't see him being in the same class as a motivated BJ Penn. I honestly thought Diego would be the guy to "out-pace" or out work BJ but look what happened there. I just think that BJ, when motivated, is too good at 155 for anyone the UFC has to offer. Shinya Aoki, maybe but he's got a huge hole in his striking game. BJ would out box him in his sleep.

yep...a motivated BJ is unstoppable at 155. I don't think anyone in the UFC, Dream, Bellator, or wherever else has the weapons to stop him. Aoki has a slight chance with his Jiu Jitsu, but as you said, his striking game sucks and BJ's ground isn't too 'shabby' either. Other guys would probably be Eddi Alvarez, Kawajiri, and Gilbert Melendez....but i'd say they have a 3% chance.

im a big bj penn fan. I met him at a rvca signing in costa mesa a few years ago and hes a pretty chill dude. real humble in person. i hope he wins the fight in at least the third round so i get my moneys worth. i thought this fight was supposed to be free because it is over seas? anyone hear this? i remember a long time that bj penn didnt want to fight overseas because he wont get a cut of the ppv money cuz it would be free.

I'm looking forward to see Renzo fighting again. His last big fight was against Oleg Tatarov, I don't even remember when, but it was a hell of a punch that took Tatarov out. It's one of those hits that you just don't forget.

I remember that fight. Wasn't it an upkick from Renzo off his back?

I watched all the fights today at 1pm. I'll keep the details to myself until after it airs in the US.

    ****SPOILER ALERT****

    that decision was pure b.s.

I had Penn winning the first 3 rounds at least. He had better counters, and Frankie didn't really do much to get a decision like that. Garbage imo

On a side note...Anderson Silva is friggin' incredible...but seriously dude needs to just finish fights instead of clowning around. I see two fighters that can beat him, and he definitely can't pull that crap against them. Unfortunately, they're both not in the UFC.

cant believe that one judge scored 45 to 50.

I was highly disappointed by the AS/DM fight. AS is amazing but the running/clowning is getting old. I wish Maia would've done this throughout the whole fight.

i could only imagine how dana white felt knowing that AS made a joke of the ufc in abu dhabi. it was pretty amusing seeing him have the karate stance like machida. after that fight DM must feel like he needs to work on his stand up. he was not comfortable throwing anything. he second guessed himself pretty much the whole fight. gsp vs a 170 lb AS? how do you think the turnout of that fight would be?
