just wondering i have heard alot of rumors about ppl who are going to this.. i really want to go. i was thinking it would be crazy to get a caravan drive to las vegas... norcal roadtrip anyone?

6 hours from Vegas back to the Bay, how fast were you driving? Takes 5.5 hours to get to Irvine avging 80mph on the 5. More like 8-9 hours to Vegas. You're going to be hungover as shit too.

8-9 hour drive to Vegas? Hell no...that only happens if you get stuck in traffic or you drive really slow! lol I used to drive that stretch once a month for a year...always took me 6.5-7.5 hours driving 80-90mph the whole time. ;)

I drive to Vegas twice a year from SF. I can do it legally in 8 hours flat. Minimal stops for only gas and bathroom of course. Google maps tells you 9 hours.
