ER's and awe. I have the jhm fmic and cit works great but if I were to do it again I would go with smic just for a super clean look and you don't block your radiator with them.

actually it looks like the CX racing SMIC have changed for the better when i recently looked at them on ebay, they are now fully welded with cast end tanks, before i remember them being welded end tanks and glued to the intercooler core.

I wouldn't expect great fit and finish, but its the same company that makes the core for JHM's FMIC which everyone says has been problem free...

I have seen IAT deltas from CX Racing SMICs and they look just about as bad as stock...

Save your money and go with AWE or ER or do a nice FMIC install..

they probably a little bit better than stock but not a hell of a lot, i think the stock intercoolers have 9 rows of fins, were the cx have 11, and they arent much thicker, compared to er's which are about twice the size
