Post some pics of your Bi-Xenon with the lights on. Let me know what temperature and what make D1S bulb you are running. I currently am running Osram 4300k and looking to change it soon.

Lights aren't on.. but what the hay. I think it'd be good to get a thread going for new people to search for with pics of bi-xenons on AND off. It'd be good for reference. AKA, that is the best BS reason I could come up with to post pics of my car even though it's not what the OP asked for. ;)

btw- all my bulbs are OEM bulbs. let me know if this is too many pics and I'll take em down. Let see some more!

If there were two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins more? I bet you'd say Flippy, wouldn't you?

But you would be wrong. It's Hambone.

I would suggest running 4300k......has the best output.....if u go higher, u sacrifice light output. Seen people drive with 10000k in a wet rainy night....what can you see ?

Looks good fellas. I love the bi-xenon headlamps, I asked to see pics of them on preferably at night lol but nevertheless they look great. Djpaw you should clear corner them and blackout the housing. As for using 4300k, I am just gonna go 6000k I wont lose much light output, I hope. I have 6000k on my fogs. I hate putting the fogs on since the color doesnt match at all.

haha... That hapn to me.. When I first bought my a4 with stock Bi-Xenon, I didn't know much about lights, so I thought they were 6k..not knowing they were 4300k.. So I bought a 6k fog light kit, and they didn't match, so I never turned em on.... But now I changed my D1S to 5k, and fog lights to 5k... And output looks great...nice and white...

I has the ricer look with stock halogen healights with hids in both the headlamp and fogs. I bought set of bi-xenon ecodes from jens and couldn't be happier. I wanted to go 5000k in both D1S and 5000k fogs. You mind taking a night picture of the set up of the car and the light output on the road? Thanks a lot dude.

Doc it doesnt hurt to try something different, but the light output will suffer. Put them on and send over some pics. Love your car, very very fast lol

Well as for the light output, I am not sure yet. Some say it is much better, some others it is not.
Well I can only try myself and see. What is more, having removed my fog lights, having yellow ones will be good...

It's much more work to remove air filter and reservoir, rather than just removing bumper... I can take off bumper with my eyes closed.. 10 min max...

Stock bi-xenons, clear cornered, stock bulbs. I've considered 5000k bulbs, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

This one shows the difference between the stock fogs and the stock bi-xenons pretty good.

Call my funny but I actually like the fogs being a different color. Since all cars, even the most expensive, come that way, I think matched fogs sometimes look a bit wrong.

6000k should be fine. I used to have 6000K HIDs on my 07 civic b4 I did a retrofit. 5000k is the best.

Yep, I plan to do a clear corner mod, with black outs soon. Ever car I buy, that clear corner mod becomes a must. Even though you begin to notice the amber only after visiting car forums.

Some good looking cars on this page !!
