It was a busy Sunday today.

Installed coilovers, Rs4 sway, Joey mod the headlights and installed HID’s in headlights and fogs. Defiantly the worst day off I've had in a while

V maxx coilovers (I know, I get what I pay for) ride fine so far. But shit, the height difference was so far off from front to back its ridiculous. I adjusted the front to what I thought would be a moderate setting and it was sitting on frame when I dropped the jack, and the rear ended up being the same height as non sport OEM. I was able to get the fronts up, but no chance in adjusting rears while on the car. By this time it was around 11:30pm and I was kind of tired.

Sway bar was cake as well as HIDs. The headlights aren't so bad after you realize your mistakes on the first one. I’m just praying to baby Jesus they seal up fine.

I read something like this before on a miata forum..... the front springs were installed in the rear and the rear on the front. I dunno if this is possible with the vmaxx's or on an a4, but it just made me think......

you probably have an extra rear rubber spacer from the stock suspension somewhere where it shouldn't be.

Make sure you call Stramosphere to make sure you got the upgraded rear springs/strut assembly. Same thing happened to me...i have 30,000 plus on this coilover setup and they are still kicking..

I only have Sundays off because I'm a chef and I work non stop. And all of my tools are an two hours away at my dads house, no where to store tools in a shitty apartment. I started about 9.30am and finished around 11.30pm.

Sorry if that offended anyone. But I've seen that term thrown around on here more than once. Its when the back of the car is jacked up and the fronts way lower.

I will play with adjusting them in a few weeks when my wheels come in and try to dial everything in.

Also about the rear coils. They for sure are not swapped around with the fronts haha... I did leave the bottom rubber bushing on, and the adjuster is on top. The adjuster was for sure made to go on top. I still have adjustment to lower the rear, but it really doesn't look like it will lower it that much. Maybe I will have to cut that bushing in half to drop the spring down lower? I don't want to remove it all the way for fear of annoying noises.

in the back you should have the perch on the top with no rubber bushing of any sort and on the bottom the same way

Ok. I have the adjuster on top, but I figured I would get a noise from the spring rubbing or shifting around on the lower control arm. Do you get any noises at all from the rear?

Yea it deff doesn't have a classy Audi stance haha. I'll have to go back in and remove the rubber piece under the spring when I do my timing belt in a few weeks.

well...if it helps my kw variant 3's took about 2 adjustment cycle's to allow the springs to properly break in.

another thing is when i readjust my rear perches and retighten the subframe bolts the bushing in the subframe squeezes more and the car is even lower than i wanted.

why would it take longer than 1 day? it took me like 4-5 hours (including all the paint and sealant drying times)

This coming from a guy that posted a thread after doing the joey mod about headlights being hazy? IF you got the car like that, why didn't you fix the hazyness when the lights were taken apart? Or was that due to the joey mod process. I was just saying no reason to rush for things like this.

I have the updated version. I just left the rubber bushings under the spring. I Have to go back and remove that piece, and lower the perch all the way. I just don't have tools, or time while I'm at my apartment. All my tools are at my dads house over an hour away.
