Help! B6 ECU Immobilizer question...

Hey guys!

So I've got a spare ECU for an 02 A4 1.8TQM in my garage that has GIAC programming on it.
My girlfriend has an 02 A4 1.8TQ tiptronic and I want to put this ECU in her car. From what I understand, I can't just drop it in because of the stupid immobilizer... I know the trans thing is an easy vag-com switch, but does anybody have any idea of how to get around this immobilizer issue? I want her car to be faster! Haha

Dealer needs to do this. They have to pair the ECU with the gauge cluster I believe.

Yeah, but from what I understand, if they do it that way the GIAC programming goes bye bye. I don't think GIAC is going to help me (my email went unanswered) because I bought the ECU as it is off of eBay. I will likely have to open both ECUs and have the immobilizer chips swapped/soldered.

Chances are not so bad! Gmail has my year+ old emails so I have his name!
