    So Frustrated With the Problemsdfskljdlfjdsl

    Hey Guys,

I am currently trying to replace a rear window regulator. I saw the diy for the front window regulator, but found it was not the same for the rear.

This link: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/int66.shtml, is the online diy I have found. BUT, the author reports in his writeup that it is impossible to pull the rear panel off without breaking the door tabs...

    Is this true guys?

    And lastly, could this fault:

    01561 - Left Rear Door
    59-10 - Can't unlock - Intermittent

be dealt with when I open the left rear door panel up? (Coincidentally, the regulator that went out is in the same panel with the fault).

    Thanks guys!

The door tabs are brittle plastic and yes you will probably break some of them. About half of mine broke on both of my front doors when I did them and I just had my bodyshop order me 20 of them to replace the broken ones and have some for the future. They were fairly cheap if I recall but he ended up just giving them to me for free...
