    brought my car in for some recalled coils and found out mah baby's got more issues

    right upper link bushing separated
    both forward lower links have excessive play
    torn cv boot
    oil is leaking, burning off with some occasional white smoke (valve cover, camshaft adjuster, plugs)
    lumbar support in the driver's seat is t3h brokes

    I see some aftermarket control rods - does anyone have experience with them?

    When I replaced all my control arms on my S4 I went with the Febi-Bilstein kit after some people mentioned having issues with the Meyle parts. I bought my stuff from Pure Motorsports but that was a few years ago. Actually, one of the lower control arms that I bought went bad after a few months but it was replaced by PureMS under warranty. I sold the car not too long after that.

    They have a gb going on right now - $250 + $40 shipped to Hawaii 0.o. Imma place my order some time in the next week and probably have Smitty's crew do the install...

    Got the oil issues resolved - so relieved thats done. AoH replaced the valve cover gaskets, cam adjuster seals and caps.

    Next up - suspension issues: cv boot and control arms. That FCP Groton kit looks like the winner. Only real question is who is going to do the install...

    They gave me a 20% discount off list for the parts, but the parts weren't the majority of the cost :(
