I'm getting some new tires for my A4 S-line and am wondering what the best set to get is for under $1000. I have 235/40/18's and am wanting to stick with that size. Warm weather / Sometimes wet conditions, Semi-hard driver. Let me know what you guys think.

I always recommend Bridgestone Re960's. I've run them hard in every type of weather and they've done absolutely amazing!

i had the 960's and my only complaint was the occasional hydroplane at higher speeds, otherwise excellent all season. running the goodyear eagle gt hr's ? not sure of the model, and they are sticky for an all season, cheap too.

From the driving conditions you posted, it seems you'd be much better off with a summer tire rather than an all season. I just paid $700 for a set of the Hankook Ventus Evo V12 and I'm really liking them so far.
