Clutch Pedal goes Pop

I push down the clutch and feel through my foot something, what I would describe as a popping sensation.
If I listen carefully I can hear it pop right at the point of disengagement (i.e. pushing clutch pedal down).
The clutch behaves normally otherwise. And the popping sensation/sound goes away after driving car for a little while.

Any clue what would cause this?

Fluid level is normal. It's a relatively new RS4 clutch and PP, installed roughly 4kmiles ago.

Slave, SAC out of wack? What else is in there that could cause this?

Could be a TO bearing that isn't working quite right, a slave cylinder that is binding a bit, possibly even a broken tooth on the PP. It's really hard to diagnose these things over the interweb...
