Does anyone know off hand if ross tech's cable is compatible with mac? I wasn't going to buy one but I've got
Time and money on my hands now ( Life is tough, I know) so I thought I'd order it. If it will work.

I use VMware Fusion on my MacBook Pro to run Windows XP Home. It works beautifully for VAG-COM/VCDS and ETKA software that is only Windows compatible.

Perfect! You should be all set.

Just make sure that you pay attention to the instructions at the bottom of the window before you plug the VAG-COM cable into the USB port.

"To direct input to this virtual machine, click inside the window."

If you are working in the OSX environment while you plug in, you will be plugging the cable into OSX. When you click inside the VMware window and plug in, you are plugging the cable into Windows.

It's a simple mistake that I have made on several occasions. You just have to unplug from the USB, click inside the VMware window and plug the cable back in if you make the mistake.
