Widebody S4 Saloon :)

It's official started

The car is in the garage with Aiden www.Bahnstorm.net :P I drop the car on 8th march 2010 so it has been almost two weeks now.

My plans are :D Bodywork first, then engine, and finally the suspension.

I dreamed of having a B5 RS4 but I really didn't like the Avan so I always wanted to have a RS4 in a saloon and now I think that dream would become real :lol:

Body Work plan:

OEM B5 RS4 Panels
OEM RS4 wheel liners
OEM Rear Doors
OEM Side Skirts
OEM RS4 Wing Mirror's
Complete respray (dark red)

Engine:

Nothing is in my mine yet :lol: but maybe I go for KO4 turbo's and my plan is to get it around 450 BHP :evil:

I had few problems with finding the parts but now everything is completed :D

10J I will think about it :) I was thinking more like 8.5 with 255.

Most of parts were bought from ebay :)

I like mine 18x9.5" ET22 with hubcentric rings since it was made for a BMW bolt pattern :-)

what kind of prices are we looking at just to get the full widebody conversion? DolphineV8 where did you buy your kit from? Is it the Fiberglass or oem kit?

OP nice set up dood and post pics of the completed car.

Full kit should be close to $12k now, and labor varies by location. I bought my oem kit from Alex@Europrice.

Good luck with the build OP I can't wait to see the Hibiscus in widebody. I'm still sad for not making my LASER into a widebody but love the Noggy WB still. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Also if you are looking for trim door steps that run $800 for OEM I got a guy making a CF set that could be replicated for you too!

My CF guy said it would probably be ~$400 and he could possibly laser etch stuff for me etc. if you wanted to get fancy. I rather have something that does not say RS4 because in the end the car is not a true RS4 so I think the CF inlays look very unique. I figure the more people that may want a set I could ask him and that may get the price down.

Yea they have to make a glass mold first off the frame and after that they are going to put smoething toegther. It may take a little but to get it right because the things are literally only 2mm thin so they are very delicate and hard to work with. Chaka (Moses) may be sending us a set to mold off since I was going to send him a CF set for his Widebody as well. Hopefully I will have some photos over the next month as the race shop has been getting slammed with all the races lately at Seabring etc. They were also going to mold off the OEM RS4 panels just in case I need them to make CF panels down the line.

John if you happen to read this what do you think the ETA would be once they start molding off the car next week?

ahhhhhhhh. im in love. im doing an alpine white rs5 b5 conversion with gunmetals, yours has a perfect stance. kudos on your hard work guys. what size tires are these? 40's? 35's?
