Any DIY Guide for a window regulator?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Drivers side window is starting to act up a bit (one touch open works fine. One touch close window rolls up then moves back down a few inches). I hear it's a complete pain as the door frame itself has to come off. Was wondering if anyone know of a DIY guide I can use. Search came up with nothing. Thanks in advance.

I did my driver side window regulator just by unbolting stuff until everything came apart lol. Got the new regulator in and had no bolts and screws left at the end.

The window Reg. isn't too bad to do. My rear driver reg. broke a few months ago and I fixed it. Pretty close to the same as the front. Looks more of a pain in the butt than it really is. Most likely the little plastic piece on the reg. that holds the cable is probally broken. I know they have a kit you can buy, never tried it though, just went ahead and bought a new Reg. from the dealer. I guess it helps to own a autorepair shop, but audi parts are still expensive.
