    What's up all u B5'ers? I just wanted to introduce the newest member of my audi family..... I finally found a B5 avant 5spd in great shape... 2001 1.8TQ only 85K single owner....all the good stuff, timing belt done 5K ago....All records etc...never been in any sort of wreck or anything...


    I'm very excited to add this car to my garage! Now the question comes do I want to continue modding my B6 or start on this one?! I don't need 2 money pits but I'm def putting my 17's from the B6 on it and going to try to find some used springs/shocks to lower it a bit....

    looks clean. I say keep the B6 for special occasions, like to go out and shit, and mod the hell out of the B5. track weekend car.

    97, I saw your ad in the classifieds the day before I bought the car, it's going to take me a couple weeks to recover but if you still have them in a few weeks I'll be very interested.

    Pipe, I thought about that too, but the lady will be driving this car more than me, not sure she'd go for it hehe...but who knows... Eventually when I get my HRE's back from my brother in Tampa, I'll prob slap them bitches on and let her pimp around town gangsta style....

    Anthony, can you do me a favor and check the part number on the springs, it should be there somewhere...I think it's in the pic in your ad but I can't make it out...

    if it's 55.02.26 then that's for the 97-2000 models
    and 55.02.43 is for the 2001...


    Now I DON'T know if it really makes a difference, or as to whether putting the ones from 97-2000 would be bad for a 2001?

    i heard that the 01's are different... there was a thread not too long ago with someone with an 01 and his car looked funny cause of the perch is different or something idk, look into it is all im sayin!

    flynn, yep, they're different..front of 2001 is 3/4" higher than previous models...just an fyi in case anyone wants to know..
