    GPS Calibration Firmware update

I just updated my RNS-E from 0020 to 0200. I did the change to label it to 0270 as per other threads in the forum while I wait for my 0260 DVD to arrive. I did this because I didn't want to lose the VIM but have the updated maps.

I did the update before a 30 mile trip out. When I first got on the highway the GPS displayed the car on a service road instead of the highway with it correcting itself occasionally. Also in 3d view it seemed like the field of vision would rotate a little while driving straight, like the car was turning. It got better as the drive went on and then improved much more on the drive home (it actually had me on the highway) and the screen rotation became better.

Does anyone know if the RNS-E needs to recalibrate after a firmware update and if it does how long does it take?

Is it something I need to manually?

It's in the manual. Tells you to drive in circles to calibrate. Or maybe that's just the mirror compass, can't remember off the top of my head.
