So I went to close the hatch today and thinking everything was cool I get in and put the car in gear and get the display warning that it was still open. So I get out and check out the hatch. It was loose but closed, I was able to lift it up like I was opening it but it would catch as if it was locked. Playing around with it some more I could only get it to fully shut and be locked into position while the engine is running. If the engine was off the hatch would not lock into place no matter what I tried. I'm thinking it has something to do with the locking mechanism but do I need to look at the actuator itself or the actual part that locks the hatch into place where it connects to the car? TIA
