My friend and I bought 4 of these bulbs for my B7 A4 and his B8 A4:

The bulbs work fine in his B8 but are throwing a bulb out warning in my B7. I wrote to HID Concept and they advised the bulbs are not defective. They confirmed their Festoon LEDs do not give an error message on B8's or other Audi models, however that it does happen with B6's and B7's. That said, they also told me that they tested a B7 with the red DIS (like my car) and did not get an error message.
