I need to up my sways as well, but still hesitate on it.
Couple issues concern me from past car experience is simply controlling the torsional twist of the chassis. By increasing only the rear sway, the chassis twist from front to rear will increase significantly. Past cars had windshields actually pop out unless you added more rigidity via strut braces and such. From listening here on AZ, it seem the A4 chassis is actually amazingly ridged and holds up well to the mod and added stress, but I still cant help but think that upping the front at the same time would be a better decision overall for the longevity of the car. The second drawback to a factory sway such as the RS4, is the lack of adjust-ability. I have enjoyed being able to alter the firmness of the sway as needed on my past car, (although I did not do it for every track event, I did change it for summer/winter driving). Not sure what A4 option have adjustable rears, but it will certainly prove to be a more versatile bar than any OEM replacement.
The fast fix consensus here is the rear rs4 is the "best bang for the buck", but I doubt it is the "best option" for the "best handling".
Just food for thought...
