No - not exactly the same, but very, very close! At that price, if I didn't have one, I'd snap it up! OEM one in the UK is over 100 pounds Sterling!

There are two of them listed, one is listed as VW/Audi brand and the other is Votex. Are you certain that the VW/Audi one is not OEM ? I too recall the dealership asking for >$100 for the net so at that price, as long as it is close in fitment, I am good.

Also, any idea where and how does the emergency triangle go in the car ? On my B5, it goes on the inside of the rear trunk lid. On the S5, there only appears to have a spot on the lid but no mounting hardwares, can they be purchased separately ? Thanks.

Yeah - I'm pretty sure. I have the European OEM net from my TT, and it has a pocket on top plus different hooks. But, as I say, this one is VERY close, and well worth it.

Yes, the hardware to mount it in the trunk can be purchased - either from your dealer or, if I recall correctly, ECS also sell it... It's a small bracket to hold it in place.

No but I've never seen Audi use that triangle before. I had the triangle in all of my other Audi's up until my S5 and they looked nothing like that one. The other ones did not come in a case at all, and just mounted up inside the rear deck lid. But I could be wrong because the S5 deck lid is very narrow, it's just that I've never seen the S5 triangle.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to the questions, I'm only here 9 - 5. Here we go:

Nets: They are VW/Audi nets that fit nearly perfectly. They are not a direct part number match for the appropriate net for the S5 but they do the job swimmingly. For the 95 dollar price difference, they are darn near perfect ;)

Warning Triangles: Once again, these are VW/Audi triangles that are nearly universal. When collapsed they are malleable enough to fit nearly anywhere you'd like to put them. At 5 dollars they are significantly less the the proper trunk mounted triangle. And yes, if you'd like you can order the proper mount and triangle from us.

We aren't trying to market these as direct fit items that you would have paid loads for at the dealer. We are just trying to get some good "general purpose" tools out to the public while at some insane on sale pricing. The triangles are malleable and the nets are stretchable making them a few great universal VW/Audi items.

So with a proper OEM mount, can you mount this triangle up in the trunk correctly ? Can you post a link to the proper mount and the triangle that you are refering to ? Thanks.

The triangle is not the exact fit triangle for the deck lid. It is simply a universal VW/Audi warning triangle. However, it is slightly smaller than the one that gets mounted with the clip into your deck lid. While we can't sell these to you as replacements, I would think that little basic engineering should allow the triangle to fit in that same spot. Though since these are not the correct triangle for that application I cannot recommend them as a direct fit replacement.

The triangle you speak of is a different setup. You are looking for this: Triangle and Bracket
