ahh the memories... The year was 1996, and i was looking for my first car. An old man by the name of Don Roby was frequent customer at our family business, and when discussion turned to cars one day, he mentioned his barn (yes an actual fukcing barn) on his land that he stored his old cars in. Mr Roby was dying of lung cancer so he was looking at unloading all his possessions before he died... he mentioned he owned a 1969 Dodge Charger, 383 4-barrel, 4 speed, numbers matching everything, 14,000 original miles... and he said it could be mine for $10,000.
My dad said NO, and then Mr Roby Died a few months later. Left all his cars in his will to my friends uncle.. they went to auction. That car sold for $40,000.
This is a true story
