    got underneath the car

So I got underneath the car and found some interesting information.

I thought that the oil underneath the car was from a main seal, but the fluid appears like it could be transmission fluid, and also seems to be coming from in front of where the engine and transmission meet and possibly above those lines that have the transmission fluid on them, at about the same time the transmission has been slipping...is there a source for transmission fluid from in front and above where the engine meet and those lines are in front of that cross-member?

Couldn't find much in the forums on this.

Has the motor or trans been pulled recently?

I wouldn't say that the lines are a common problem, but if you pinch them while installing the motor/trans, or bing them up against the chassis, you could cause a pin hole or a leaky seal.

Actually yes. I just had it out for maintenance! Wonder how much they are to replace...
