Does anybody know where the outside air temp sensor is?

When I start my car in the morning the temp reads correct but after driving it the temp soars to 100 plus! I think it may be cause I have my license plate mounted below my filler plate thus blocking the airflow to the sensor. Is that correct? It that why people don't mount their license plate below the filler plate? It looks nice though.

Thanks, that explains it. Bummer I really like the license plate where it is. Got to move it.
