yes, go for it. I got my kw variant 2's installed, then 2 weeks later i got it corner weighted. Make sure you let the suspension settle a little before you get it corner weighted. Its no good to install the coilovers, then get the corner weight done immediately

i got my alignment done the same time as the corner weight. Im not sure if he did the alignment first or the corner weighting. Most likely the alignment. It probably doesnt matter which one is done first though

If you corner balance...do it in this order: install suspension > 1-2weeks to settle springs > corner balance > alignment.

nothing's going to break by them doing it all at once... think of it this way... once your suspension settles, your corner balancing goes away...and your alignment now becomes out of line as well...causing uneven tire wear. That's a tough case to fight them on, and instead of replacing your worn tires, they'll probably just give you another alignment...tires are more expensive.

If you're already stuck with them doing the install/corner balance/alignment in one day. Do this: ask for a full printout of the alignment specs (height, weight, toe, & camber settings for all four corners). Wait two weeks, and check your height on your own...if it's lower (it will be), go back to them and say your suspension settled, and now your corner balancing & alignment is off. If you're lucky, they'll put it back on the rack and reset everything for you. If they're going to be d*cks, they'll put it on the rack out of courtesy, then tell you the alignment is "within spec" and the height change has had a minimal impact on the corner-weighting.

This is why I give EXACT alignment specs... So there's no grey area. They know exactly what they are required to deliver.

If they haven't started corner-balancing & alignment yet, tell em you want the susp to settle for a week or two, then you'll take it back for that part.

Make sure when you get the corner weight done, you are either sitting in the drivers seat or they have replaced you with something of equal or similar weight.
Without this, when you get in the car to drive it, the specs will be off as more weight will now be on the drivers side.

Unless you plan to track the car I think corner balancing is pointless. I had mine done and frankly, it's hard to tell the difference. Besides, I wasn't real excited having every corner sit at a different ride height and to get it right your rear will sit lower than your front. I took mine in when I had my ride height readjusted and passed on the corner balance. No real difference noticed as a daily driver. Save your money.

When I did the C/O's in my B5 S4 I was wondering the same thing. I had a very respected motorsports shop do my alignment and I asked about corner balancing. They asked what I do with the car and told them that I might do 6-8 Auto-X's, and do not plan on doing a full on campaign like I did when I was younger, as well as 1 or 2 HPDE's they said that corner balancing was a complete waist of money.....

    Cheers,
    Jim

    I completly aggree, but.

Honestly without the addition of adjustable sway links there we don't reap the full benefit of a full corner balance (unfortunatly our sway bars add some preload to each corner). You could cross weight the car if you want.

But just get a quality alignment to your specs with you in the driverseat and call it a day.

If you find some adjustable sway links please let me know. I have been trying to find a set and after talking with JetJockey about it he was also unable to find any either

I just let my suspension settle for 2 weeks and heading in for an alignment on thursday. Luckily everything settled even (~1/8").
