Looking for the best place to get replacement window

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I was at a show last night for about 3 hours.
Went out to my car to have myself a smoke and I walk out to this!!!!
Apart from freezing my ass in the car ride home at 3am, there is glass everywhere.
Just checking to see if anyone in here knows where the best place to find a replacement window.
I tried search but found nothing.

Be careful of what you keep in your car. Apparently nothing stops these pieces of shiz.
I was lucky that they only stole my 5 year old zune

Oh man! you should have your windows tinted for privacy and to avoid such incidents. Anyway, you can consult www.TintBuyer.com for your tinting needs. They also provide other information such as quotations from local tinter, updated tint law in every state and will help you find the best professional tinter near your area.

I don't want my rates to go up.
I got it taken care of today, I was charge 130 for parts and installation at a local shop.

Yea, they seriously stole a zune, not just a zune but the first generation zune.
I had other things he could have stolen, I think the alarm went off and scared them.

I previously had tints. I got hassled by the cops. Now that there isn't any tint, I get hassled by crack heads. There is no way of having privacy.

It is TINT! Not TINTS! lol.

ANYWAYS. You may want to think twice about not going through your insurance. This is a comprehensive claim, and your rates should not go up due to it. The only reason I say this, is even though the glass is cheap. Installing the glass isn't all that easy. Look up the window regulator DIY for the B6 (our setup is exactly the same), as you pretty much have to follow that entire procedure to replace the glass.

If it was me. I would go through insurance and have my dealer replace the glass. Most glass shops may not be to familiar with the proper way to replace it.
