Ok i purchased this 99 avant and after i bought it it was leaking oil from the transmission area looked like the transmission fluid and looked like it was the out put shaft seal that was bad and leaking from inside the transmission housing.. So i check the oil pan and showed it to a local transmission re builder and he said its toast.. So i purchased another DPT of a 99 00 a6 quattro and i check the oil pan and it looks much better then the one i am pulling out of the car.. So now on to some questions i have where can i get the special transmission fluid that is need 5Liters can i buy this fluid at the store or do i have to go to vw.. and how much fluid goes in to one of these transmission and i was told that the car or the outside temperature has to be at a certain temp for it to be full.. This is a more complex transmission flush then normal so that why i have these questions i do know where the fill and drain plugs are and how i am going to get the fluid in was with a long hose..
