Question Is the Aero Wiper kit recommended?

I need to get an oil change soon, I figure when I hit the dealership, I ask them to upgrade my non-Aeros to the Aeros. Is it worth it?
How much $ am I looking at here?

We recommend them, to purchase at the dealer, you are looking at $146.20, we sell for $99.99 plus shipping.

it's worth it. But you get get the kit online for $100 or probably spend $200+ install at the dealer.

Just got mine from DTH and they are a great improvement over the non-aero wipers.

Maybe I need new blades, but I am really dissatisfied with mine. They always leave lines on my windshield after wiping, and they freeze far to often making it incredibly dangerous for me driving.

They're nothing special. Sure they work awesome when you first put them on, but so does a standard wiper. They don't last longer, they don't hold down to the window more uniformly, they aren't impervious to freezing up in cold weather, they chatter the same, and at speed will lift off the window the same as well. A lot of people are still on their honeymoon with them, and that's fine, but I know there's probably a 1:1 ratio of people that swear by them to folks that don't think they're all that special. Don't get me wrong, they're not worse, they just aren't this gigantic improvement that the marketing would lead you to believe. The only substantial difference is price.

OK. I have them and recommend them. They are better in the rain then the old style. The only time i don;t like them is in the icy freezing rain or super wet snow. They tend to ice up. But honestly my original wipers used to clog with snow and not conform to window. IMHO they are better in 85% of the situations. The only style was better in 15% of the situations. I do find these blades dry out faster if i don;t keep them treated.
